Latest update for some pages of this website: January 29, 2022.

I am moving to Oregon in March, 2022. My china painting classes closed at the end of 2021. I will not be teaching on the mainland.

I have been china painting since the late 1970's. If you are a new visitor to this web site, I welcome you.  If you are a china painter, (or not) I hope you will find something of interest to you on some of these pages.  I am a china painter, formerly a teacher on the Big Island of Hawaii. In March, 2022, I am moving to Oregon. I will not be teaching on the mainland. I am also a watercolor artist. I will do a little china painting, as well as watercolor and colored pencil in Oregon.

I've tried to include a wide variety of pictures and information that I think would be of particular interest to other china painters and artists.

Thank you for visiting my web site.

PORCELAIN PAINTERS INTERNATIONAL ONLINE (PPIO)

Marci Blattenberger and I founded the Porcelain Painters International Online (PPIO) organization and web site (http://www.ppio.com) in May, 1998. I urge you to visit the site of this online organization often to see the new features as they are added. I stepped down from administration of the organization some years ago. Marci continues to maintain both the website and the organization. She also maintains the China Painting Mailing list (over 1,000 china painting members from all over the world) and a forum. To join this mailing list now, go to the PPIO home page and click on the link that is near the top of that page for signing up.
