Old Hawaiian Host Macadamia Nut Factory

This is the old Hawaiian Host Macadamia Nut factory. It can be seen along the Mamalhoa Highway, just south of the town of Captain Cook. I pass it several times a week, every time I go into town. Seen from the highway, it is just the right angle for a picturesque painting. When I first spotted this building, I thought it was an old coffee mill. But later on I was told that it is the old Hawaiian Host Macadamia Nut Factory.

Later on, someone else said that it did used to be a coffee mill and that it has passed through several purposes, including the nut factory.
