| I made this bowl this May (2006) at the Oregon Porcelain Artist Retreat (OPAR) while attending Nancy Benedetti's class. We had a lot of fun in the class, working on the project. The bowl is made by dipping light flannel fabric into slip and then draping it over a balloon. That is a simplified description. It involves a lot more and we were all able to create these beautiful, graceful art objects. Nancy is a wonderful, knowledgeable teacher and you can always count on learning something new and exciting in her class. |
